Gone Girl is a thriller entertainment that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The movie focuses on two aspects of a couple’s life, their past and present life. The past life of the couple together is presented in Amy Dunne’s diary, where she speaks of the good and bad memories with her husband, Nick Dunne. Their present life is set in Southeast Missouri, and based on horrible days between the couple, it seems as if they aren’t truly in love like the old days. On what is supposed to be a special day for the couple, Nick returns to their home where Amy is nowhere to be found. The movie quickly deepens into the secrets of their marriage, and a crime scene between friends and family, as well as possible victims in the situation.

The film stars Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, Rosamund Pike as Amy Dunne, Neil Patrick Harris as Amy’s ex boyfriend, Ellen Abbott stars as Missi Pyle (a tv host,) Tyler Perry as Tanner Bolt, Carrie coon as Margo Dunne (Nick’s sister,) Kim Dickens as detective Rhonda Boney. The film was directed by David Fincher and released on October 2014; receiving nomination titles of “Critics Choice award.”
