Scorpion is an American drama action television series on CBS about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien and his team of brilliant and gifted individuals. In this series, O’Brien and his team work together to save lives and solve major global problems. After the first episode “Pilot” premiered on CBS in 2014, Scorpion has continued the series for three seasons now. The third season premiered on CBS on October 3, 2016.
Scorpion is based on the life of a real life genius named Walter O’Brien. O’Brien got the name Scorpion after he finally snapped and unleashed five years of karate training on the people who bullied him. At the age of 13, O’Brien hacked NASA and started his own company called Scorpion Computer Services. Now he runs a company that employs 2,600 geniuses in 20 countries that help their clients with issues concerning international security. He is even one of the executive producers of the show Scorpion.
Scorpion is set in many different settings ranging from a farmhouse in Ireland to a cave system in North America. What started off as a show that was based on the life of Walter O’Brien, a self proclaimed genius and computer hacker, turned into a show that is based on a true story but at the same time is action-packed and keeps watchers on the edge of their seats. Relationships and friendships between characters have formed, while others have ended, but I won’t spoil that. I’ve been watching Scorpion, since it first aired two years ago on CBS. I really enjoy watching the show, because it’s informative but at the same time it is exciting. I would definitely recommend this show to my friends.
Overall, if you enjoy drama, action, and misfits coming together to do something extraordinary, then this is the show to watch. If you are interested in watching Scorpion, new episodes usually air Monday nights at nine. I know I’ll be watching the next episode.
