Brothers Peter and Michael Spierig brought us Winchester, a story about “the house that ghosts built” earlier this month. The Spierig brothers are also responsible for keeping us up at night after the release of Jigsaw in the fall of last year.
Winchester embarks on the haunting aspect of the historical house of Sarah Winchester, heiress of the Winchester fortune. It is believed that the house is “the most haunted house” in the world.
The storyline of the movie follows a psychiatrist that is to visit the Winchester household to prove whether or not Sarah is crazy. Sarah built the monstrous house that stands seven stories tall, contains hundreds of rooms, and staircases that lead to nowhere to make a prison for hundreds of vengeful ghost.
The movie is currently showing in theatres.
