The movie A Quiet Place: Day One isn’t just the first day of how it all started with the alien invasion but it also takes time to show how the first couple of days were. The movie was made to show a core concept of the chaos happening during the apocalypse and how everyone has to adapt to not talking or making any loud noises that can be heard by the creatures. The movie was not as promising as it was advertised to be. It focused more on showing the romantic relationship between the main character, Samira and Eric than the actual action. The movie could’ve been broken down into a single action-packed day to create more instant involvement and live up to the promising apocalyptic thriller. 

The main purpose of A Quiet Place: Day One was to make it stand out from the previous two movies and to show the immediate result of the aliens’ arrival. In the other film, you can see that the creatures have already gotten used to their new home and there aren’t many people seen. The movie had guaranteed to show the madness and how everyone struggled to wrap their heads around what occurred overnight. But we didn’t get what we expected.
