Skip Marley, Bob Marley’s grandson, is making his grandfather proud. Being featured in a song with Katy Perry made his existence known to more people. Perry asked Skip to duet with her in her new song “Chained to the Rhythm”.
Reggae may run deep in his roots, but he has a new sound to him. Releasing his second single “Lions”, on February 2017, he reminds us that “when we are strong and unified, no evil can get us.” He wants people to take an message of love away from his songs. In this time, there is many things that separate each of us, but Skip want us to be unified. “Whatever they’re feeling, I want then to be able to turn up my music and think, relax, and get good vibes.”
