The Stranger: Prey at Night is a 2018 American horror film directed by Johannes Roberts and starring Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson, Bailee Madison and Lewis Pullman. The sequel is in fact inspired by the 2008 film, The Strangers, which was technically inspired by true events that happened in the former director’s life.
It is supplemented with pop music from the ‘80s, creating a period atmosphere, but it interjected by modern devices like a touchscreen phone.
The Strangers: Prey at Night features a family that decides to stay at an abandoned trailer park during their road trip. After a woman knocks on their door and discovers they are home, the family is paid a visit by three masked psychopaths and must try to survive.
