J.J. Watt injured once again

Tana Cleveland

J.J. Watt, Houston Texan’s defensive line-man, was hospitalized on Sunday after a serious injury to his left leg. In the first quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs,  Watt got hurt and he couldn’t even walk off the field by himself. The Texans announced the next day that his injury is a tibial fracture in his left leg. He, as well as the team, was devastated.

Injuries are not new to Watt. Last year he suffered from a huge back injury that cost him three games. Recently, Watt took the extra time he had and made a platform of $37 million to donate to hurricane victims.

In 2015, he was ranked top player and had little to no injuries. Keeping football players safe is a huge issue that the NFL deals with daily. Trying to protect them during games is very hard and often impossible, especially in Watt’s case.
