Dead but never forgotten. On September 7, 2018 around noon, rapper Mac Miller, age 26,  was found dead in his San Fernando Valley home due to a drug overdose. Sources say that Miller hosted a party the night before he was found dead. The next morning someone at his home called 911, to which the police and paramedics arrived at his home only to discover Miller dead long before they had arrived. Law enforcement officials searched the home and found only small traces of white powder causing them to believe that the house was swept clean to hide evidence of drug use.

Millions of fans have expressed their grieve on social media, including Miller’s ex, Ariana Grande who has expressed her mourn on Twitter. “Everything will be okay,” she tweeted. “I love u so v much.” She also said, “I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore.”
