Varsity Tutors Scholarship Contest Description
Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Essays are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship. Interested students can enter the contest here:
The contest is open to students over the age of 16 at the time of that month’s contest.
This month’s scholarship essay is due on September 15!

Buenas Opiniones Scholarship
Buenas Opiniones awards its annual Latino scholarships through its various scholarship programs, including scholarships geared specifically for high school seniors, community college students, and current college students. In order to be eligible for any of them, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be pursuing or plan to pursue a technical, undergraduate or graduate degree in the upcoming academic year.
