The series Reign is set in a time period where king and queens rule the world. It’s about the Queen of Scotland, Mary Stuart, and her adventures during her teen years. Every queen needs a king, so Mary moves to France to fulfill the planned engagement between her mother and the King of France.

I think Reign is an interesting series and always keeps me interested with the different time period and unusual problems that aren’t in today’s society. The TV show already has two seasons and is currently in the third season.

If you are looking for historical accuracy, find something else; nothing is accurate about this, from the clothing to the food eaten or dance styles. Still, it is entertaining and enjoyable to watch. It’s available to watch on Netflix and Hulu.
