Big Bang Theory at “classic” status
The Big Bang Theory is one of the most popular American shows/sitcoms on TV today. Since the release of its first episode “Pilot” in 2007, The Big Bang Theory has continued the series for nine seasons now. The ninth season premiered on CBS on September 21, 2015.
The Big Bang Theory is set in a few different settings ranging from a science lab to Dr. Sheldon Cooper’s living room. What started off a comedy about two socially awkward physicists, turned into the first TV show to accurately show what nerds are really like, and not what they are thought to be. Relationships and friendships between characters have formed, like Sheldon and Amy (boyfriend and girlfriend), Leonard and Penny (husband and wife), Bernadette and Howard (husband and wife), Sheldon and Leonard (best friends), and all in all everyone in this show are friends. The Big Bang Theory is a series that is definitely easy to get addicted to. I’ve been watching The Big Bang Theory probably since it first aired on CBS back in 2007, and I love it.
Overall, if you enjoy comedy, drama, and nerds, then The Big Bang Theory is definitely the show to watch. If you are interested in watching The Big Bang Theory, new episodes of usually air Thursday night on CBS. I know I’ll be watching the next new episode.
