Bob’s Burgers good for plenty of laughs
Bob’s Burgers is a sitcom based on a third-generation burger cook named Bob Belcher (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin). He owns and runs a restaurant named – you guessed it – Bob’s Burgers with his wife and family. His wife Linda (John Roberts) and children, Louise (Kristen Schaal), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Tina (Dan Mintz) keep Bob on his toes. With so many mishaps and adult comedy, this show is a must watch.
First airing in January 2011, the show resembled the early days of The Simpsons, with a blue-collar family working hard to scrape by. The Belchers fight to keep their heads above water in a world dominated by corporate fast-food giants rather than the local family business. They worry about everything that comes along, and with children that are not exactly mainstream, often have plenty of reason to do so. The family members fight constantly and don’t always forgive each other in typical loving-family fashion. This keeps viewers on their toes throughout.
The non-stop assault of humor is what makes this show worth watching week in and week out.
