“American Sniper” is a must-see
From director Clint Eastwood comes American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history. But, you will find there is much more to the American hero than his skill with a rifle. Nicknamed the “Legend”, Chris Kyle’s pinpoint accuracy saved many lives in the battlefield during his four tours to Iraq.
There is no way to view this film without realizing the horrors that our soldiers go through on a regular basis – staying alive is no easy feat, and usually requires doing things that these same men would never dream of doing otherwise. None of this fades the moment soldiers return home. American Sniper remind us the emotional scars our soldiers carry long after their turn at the fighting has stopped.
Chris Kyle was killed in 2013 by a war veteran he was helping through Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. This film honors Kyle all while giving Americans an idea of war and the effects it has on our soldiers.
American Sniper fully captures the horrors of war and the brave men who put their lives on the line for our country. The movie tells an important story and ultimately an emotional and powerful film. Chris Kyle was a hero who protected and loved our country until his very last day.
