Ridley Scott directs a new movie portraying the well known biblical story of Moses (played by Christian Bale) freeing the Jews from the Egyptian pharaohs. Many people are familiar with the story, especially if they’ve watched the animated movie the Prince of Egypt.

This movie has received a few harsh remarks since the main characters in the movie were being played by Caucasian actors. That, along with the fact that Moses is not portrayed as much of a hero in the movie has drawn criticism by viewers.

It would not be recommended to watch this movie with younger siblings or younger children because of the gruesome violence shown in the film. For the people that love action, fight, and excitement – this film is for you. The movie is nearly two-and-a-half hours, so be prepared to settle in and watch.
