Senior Tyler Adams catches some air as he goes up for a shot in an early-season game. The boys made the playoffs and play for bracket seeding position on Friday against Marlin. So far this season, the Bison have lost to Marlin once and beat Marlin once.

The Bison boys will face Marlin Friday night in a match that will determine post season seeding when the Bi-District games start next week. The teams will play at Riesel High School starting at 7:30.

Marlin and Buffalo have played close games during both previous match-ups this season; when they met in Buffalo, the Bison beat the Marlin team by one point at the buzzer. In the game at Marlin, the Bison stayed ahead for most of the game, but Marlin came back late in the game to win, leaving the two teams with one win each against one another.

Regardless of the winner Friday night, both teams will continue into the play-offs. Head coach David Land is hoping the experience gained from this game and earlier in the season will help his players to be successful.

“We have had a really great season,” Land said.  “We toughened up our schedule and have gained valuable experience.  The guys have played with intensity the entire season and are enjoying the benefits of that in making the play-offs.”
