The Walking Dead season 4 brings rave reviews
The hit AMC TV series The Walking Dead returned last Sunday for its fourth season. The show easily racked up 6.5 million views in the US alone, making it one of the most-watched show in America.
In this new season, newcomer Patrick gets sick with a cough that soon ends up with him coughing up blood. Lots of it. The reveal is that when someone gets sick and dies, it’s already too late – the virus is there and they are a walker. The prison begins to be overtaken as Darrel, Rick, Carl and Glen kill everyone off.
I like The Walking Dead because I like a thriller I love not knowing what’s going to happen. I love mysteries and being surprised, because things can go your way then they can completely turn against you. I would recommend this show if you like horror and surprises, but only if you have a strong stomach. If you aren’t good with seeing blood, this is a show you will want to avoid unless you enjoy nightmares.
As with most dramas, AMC has a habit of moving to commercial at crucial reveal moments – or worse, ending the episode. The great news is that it keeps you hanging on and wondering all week long what could possibly be coming next.
