Sophomore Iveth Molina is know by fellow classmates as a loud, outgoing classmate. Along with her membership in the FFA as Vice president, Molina also takes part in Bison Belles.
“Iveth is really good at Belles and I think she was from the very beginning,” sophomore Mykayla Dennix said. “She makes the routines and remembering everything from the placements to the schedule look so easy.”
Molina has been a member of the line since her freshman year and plans to continue this for the rest of her high school career. Molina said she enjoys the activity, so she has no issue with performing or spending her time practicing.
“Belles is something I really enjoy,” Molina said. “It’s not always easy to remember the moves or practice so much, but it’s worth it to me.”
While some students struggle to participate in extracurricular activities and keep their grades up, for Molina it wasn’t too much of a worry. She has managed to maintain an A average for most of the year.
“Keeping your grades up is a really big thing if you want to be a Belle,” Molina said. “I had to work really hard to try and keep my grades up above a C before.”
