North Korea fired four ballistic missiles early Monday morning in what Japan’s leader described as extremely dangerous. Three of the missiles fell in Japan’s exclusive economic zone. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is said to have personally supervised the missile test.
The European Union’s foreign affairs chief called the launches “illegal” and urged North Korea’s leaders to re-engage communications with the international community.
