US President Donald Trump withdrew the US from the Trans-Pacific Pact earlier this week. He campaigned against the pact, saying it was costing American jobs. The TPP consisted of 12 countries that together account for 40% of GDP and 20% of global trade.
President Trump has also said that he will renegotiate the North American Free-trade Agreement (NAFTA), later this week with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.
