Last week, Joaquin Guzman, famously known as “El Chapo”, was transferred from Cuidad Juarez to Brooklyn, New York. He was charged with 17 counts on an indictment accusing him of running a continuing criminal enterprise responsible for importing and distributing illegal drugs, firearms violations and much more.
Accusations say El Chapo has started drug wars as well as started a destructive rise in violence in Mexico as well as helped corrupt the streets of Mexico with drugs, violence and murder.
