Superintendent Lacy Freeman helps out with the auctioning of parking passes for the football games. The money raised from the passes went to each organization represented at Meet the Bison.

Spirit was high in the gym and cafeteria as Bison supporters showed up to meet their teams for the year and show off their support at the annual Meet the Bison night last month. Following the booster club’s dinner in the cafeteria, everyone trooped to the gym for team introductions and performances by the band and Belles.

“I think they did a great job; I was very proud of them,” Director Amanda Harter said. “It was their very first performance, and several of them were very nervous. I was proud of them for stepping outside their comfort zone. I don’t even have the guts to stand out there and talk on the microphone, and they’re willing to get out there and dance.”

Between introductions and performances, cakes and parking passes were raffled off to raise money for the booster club as well as athletic groups, band, Belles, and the cheerleaders.

“It was great to have everyone in the community come out and support us,” senior quarterback Logan Jones said. “To know that they would come out just to watch us is amazing.”
