With last-minute changes to make to their routines, the Belles used whatever space they could find to practice. This included the beach.

The Bison Belles traveled to Moody Gardens in Galveston over the weekend to compete in Nationals. Despite last-minute changes due to an injury, the group placed in all three of their events.
There were 65 teams competing at Nationals. In their division, the Bison Belles placed fifth in team pom, fourth in team military, and sixth in team jazz.
“The girls did really well. We had to change all three routines on Thursday when we were forced to pull Jaylee Hullum because of a concussion she suffered in softball,” Bison Belle Director Amanda Harter said. “Those part changes kept the team from being as polished as they normally are at contest. I am proud of the girls for qualifying for Nationals and for holding their own while facing added challenges.”
The score sheets for the Bison Belles were above 92 in all three routines.
Try-outs for the 58th Bison Belle Drill Team are May 1. April 6 is the first mandatory try-out practice.
