“We’re the Millers” provides plenty of laughs
After seeing the trailer to We’re the Millers, I knew I wanted to check it out the first chance I got. I mean, a drug dealer creates an entire fake family just to move a whole load of pot from Mexico – how much better can it get? This movie will have you laughing so hard your stomach will start to hurt!
We’re the Millers is about drug dealer David Burke (Jason Sudeikis), who deals pot to nice, not-the-usual-drug-crowd types like local chefs and soccer moms, gets in a bit of trouble when his stash and his cash are stolen, leaving him in major debt to his dealer. He has no choice but to pay off his debt by doing a little smuggling. After convincing a broke stripper named Rose (Jennifer Aniston) and two teenage neighbors to pretend to be his family off on a holiday, he rents an RV and heads south with his fake family while he’s really smuggling in a huge pot shipment from south of the border.
This movie was beyond funny! It’s a bit predictable throughout, but full of laughs anyway. The comedy is edgy and biting. Even with the R rating, it isn’t too bad, with the exception of a too-revealing scene after Kenny is bitten by a spider. Definitely worth a trip to the movies!
