Jason Michael Ward, 40, was arrested last week for failing to register as a sex offender, which in the state of Texas is a felony.
While Ward was living in Anderson County in 2015, he was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault and he was convicted of sexual assault in April of 2017 as well.
Ward was transported to Anderson County Jail while he awaits transport to Freestone County.
