After the death of pop icon Prince in 2016, questions were raised regarding who was at fault for the fatal overdose – according to a news conference on Thursday, there are still no answers, but no one will be charged with his death. Prince’s attorney had previously stated that “Prince had no idea he was taking a counterfeit pill that could kill him,” so it was concluded that it was not the pop star’s fault. However, after extensive investigation, CNN reported that no criminal charges will be filed against the Minnesota physician who saw him two times in the week prior to his death. There is no evidence showing how Prince obtained those counterfeit pills and no evidence as to their source.
