The pathway to college is a bumpy and long ride to many. This is why students signed up to take the PSAT last week to prepare themselves for the real deal.
“I have been wanting to take the PSAT since I heard about it,” sophomore Andrea Daniel said. “I only have this year to prepare for the real deal.”
Students took the PSAT to get a glimpse of what the SAT will be like.
“It was nothing like I expected it to be,” sophomore Roberto Garcia said. “ After looking at the test I know what to get ready for.”
After taking the PSAT, many students now know their strengths and weakness.
“I had a really hard time with the math section,” Daniel said. “So now I know to work and study more on that subject then the others. “
The majority of the students took the test as a last chance to practice for the test that will determine what college or university they attend.
“I plan to go to Texas Tech,” Garcia said. “I know they require me to at have a test score higher than 1200.”
