Former pro footballer OJ simpson was released from prison Sunday after serving a nine-year sentence for a Las Vegas robbery.
Simpson was released at 12:08 a.m. PDT from Lovelock Correctional Center in northern Nevada. A prison official said that upon his release, Simpson was picked up by a driver and driven to an undisclosed location.
Although Simpson has indicated that he would like to return to Florida to live, the state says it has not received any of the transfer paperwork that would be necessary for him to be allowed to live in the state.
