Varsity Tutors Scholarship Contest Description

Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Essays are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship. Interested students can enter the contest here:
The contest is open to students over the age of 16 at the time of that month’s contest.

This month’s scholarship essay is due on October 15!

$2,000 No Essay Scholarship Contest

The $2,000 “No Essay” Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 12 months. The monthly winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced in Niche’s e-newsletter and on the Scholarship Winners page. One entry per person, but you can come back each month to try again.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The Hagan Scholarships are for high-achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college. Students must be graduating from a public school in a town with fewer than 50,000 residents and must have:

  • 5 or higher GPA
  • 23 or higher on the ACT
  • Applied for federal and state grants

Youth Noise Scholarship Program
Program is open to students currently enrolled in a high school, college, university, or trade school. The contestwill require applicants to create a 2-5 minute video in which the applicant explains how new ideas will shape the world around us, and why education is the key to creating a brighter future. Amount: $1,000
