Prom season has come to an end which means time to hang up the expensive dresses and rented tuxedos. However, memories were made with new additions to the annual event. This year several things were added, including a corn-hole competition, party favors and new awards.
“I always really saw prom as something boring, but this year was so much fun,” junior Nadia Garcia said. “Adding the new awards and games to prom was what I really thought brought everyone together. I had a great time planning it with the junior class and participating in it with all of my friends.”
This was a bitter-sweet moment for the seniors as for it being their last prom.
“This was one of the best proms I have been to,” senior Tate Slaughter said. “I had a great date and got to spend time with all of my friends. I am glad I got to end my high school years with a bang.”
