Sophomore Andrew Tanner, often known for his humor and rebellious attitude, is more than what he appears to be. He is also a Dallas Cowboys fanatic and loves hanging out with his friends.
“He’s funny and he’s a really good friend, even if he gets on my nerves,” sophomore Taylor Swarthout said. “When I need someone he’s always there for me no matter what the situation is.”
One of Tanner’s priorities outside of school is obsessing over the Dallas Cowboys. Being a fan for many years, Tanner knows most everything about the team, including team member names, team numbers, scores and much more.
“Andrew cares more about the Cowboys than he does anything else,” sophomore Luis Guerrero said. “It’s usually all he talks about with his friends.”
Tanner’s fascination with the team has increased his desire to be a part of the team in his future. Tanner practices with his brothers as well as his friends to gain further experience of the game.
“I’ve always been a fan of the team; it’s the team I grew up watching and they just kind of became role models for me,” Tanner said. “I’d do anything to assure a spot on the team in the future.”
For Tanner although he has yet to participate in school football teams football is a special thing for him.
