According to her friends, sophomore LaSundra Robinson is very social and makes sure that there is never a dull moment; this outgoing nature is important when it comes to being a member of the Bison Belles and dancing in front of a stadium full of people each week.
“When I’m in the stands and I see her dancing she looks graceful and pretty,” band member Megan Wedhorn said. “Making the instruments make music for their dance is a pretty cool experience.”
When things quiet down, though, Robinson likes to express herself through writing.
“My favorite subject in school is English because I can express myself through the writing, and I love to write,” Robinson said. “It’s like a stress reliever.”
Robinson is already making plans for after high school, even though it is a few years away.
“I plan on being a pediatrician when I grow up,” Robinson said. “My little brother was a premature baby, and without that pediatrician he wouldn’t have lived, so I plan on saving lives.”
She also plans on trying out for Belle Officer this spring.
“I can’t wait to show the judges all I have in that room,” Robinson said. “I have a lot of energy, and dancing can let it all out, and I think I can do amazing if I only believe I can – and I do.”
