The Varsity Boys finished sixth overall at the Buffalo Track Meet last month with a total of 64 points. Elkhart won the meet with 150 points. Centerville followed with 122, Teague 84.5, Lovelady 67, and Westwood 65.5.

Damon Magouirk finished the meet as the Varsity Boys High Point Individual. Magouirk grabbed first place in long jump with a jump of 19’ 7 ¾” and in triple jump with a jump of 41’11”. Damon took 6^th place in the 400m dash with a 55.59.

JoJo Thompson took first place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.18.

Nathanael Young garnered fifth place in the 800m run with a 2:19.40.

Tyler Sanders received sixth in the 800m run with a 2:19.50. He also grabbed 4^th in the 1600m run with a 5:22.12.

Jordan Bryson took second place in Shot Put with a throw of 40’ 5 ½”.

The 4×100 (400m) relay team consisting of JoJo Thompson, OT Garcia, Cameron Varner, and Damon Magouirk took fourth place with a time of 44.36.

Luis Ortiz, Dylan Magouirk, Damon Magouirk, and Nathanael Young took sixth place in the 4×400 (1600m) relay with a time of 3:57.18.

Lady Bison

The Lady Bison had several athletes place in the Buffalo High School Track Meet as well.

Stephanie Bradley garnered first place in the 200m dash with a 26.88.

Jordan Jenkins took sixth in the 100m dash with a 13.14. Jenkins took third in Shot Put with a throw of 32’ and fifth in Discus with a throw of  77′ 8″.

Kaylee Morgan grabbed fourth in the 300m hurdles with a 1:00.

The 4×100 (400m) relay team consisting of Madison Rowan, Lauren Beshears, Jordan Jenkins, and Stephanie Bradley placed fifth with a time of 54.20.

Lauren Beshears, Jordan Jenkins, Nadia Garcia, and Stephanie Bradley ran the 4×400 (1600m) relay and grabbed fifth place with a 4:44.50.
