The cold weather does not stop junior Gracelynn Dawson from cheering at Friday night football games. Dawson has been a member of the Bison cheer squad for three years now.
“I’ve been cheering for quite a few years now, and I absolutely love it,” Dawson said. “Cheerleading is a passion of mine and I enjoy being part of the school’s squad.”
Dawson enjoys being on the track cheering on the football team. Whether she’s shouting out chants or tumbling on the track, Dawson tries her best to hype up the team and the people in the stands.
“When I am out on the track cheering the boys on, I get really into it,” Dawson said. “I scream so loud that by the end of the night my voice hurts.”
