COVID couldn’t stop pep rallies, with Principal John Clements and several members of the staff working to come up with a plan to socially distance and still be able to show off school spirit. On home game days, the cheerleaders, Bison Belles, and Brigade perform for the football and volleyball players in the stands, while the rest of the student body watched a live stream of the event. Once that part of the pep rally was over the action moved to the hallways for poster and chant judging.
“I was excited to perform my first pep rally as a senior,” senior Lorna Kitson said. “It was fun and exciting, and I am sure I’ll miss them someday.”
