“Every day is a new experience; you never know what to expect.”
These are the words freshman Trystah Dennix goes by as she goes throughout her day. Dennix will have to keep her personal mantra in mind as she works to become a forensic investigator.
“I know working in that field will bring new things,” Dennix said. “I will have to keep my mind open for all the things I may see.”
Dennix hopes to study forensic science once she graduates high school.
“I want to go into that field because I like to think that I could stop a criminal from striking again,” Dennix said. “It would make me feel better.”
She is very dedicated to becoming a forensic investigator that she is already taking an college class of it. Also is is involved in school activities such as; GEMS, FCCLA, Spanish and Belles.
“I’m taking the college class to sort of prepare myself for what I am wanting to get into,” Dennix said. “My clubs are helping me make friends during my first year of high school.”
As Dennix started high school she was hoping to make new friends.
“Belles was the first group I joined, and I have made a lot of friends,” Dennix said. “I am really excited to see how the rest of my year goes.”
The friends that Dennix has made have helped her get comfortable in her groups as well as in high school.
“Trystah is such a funny person,” senior Lupita Molina said. “I know that once she sets her mind to something, she can do it. I’m looking forward to the rest of the year with her.”
