President Donald Trump plans to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. While the date and location of the meeting is unknown, the North Korean leader has now acknowledged Trump’s statement and seems willing to meet. Today, North Korea’s official news station announced that the leader had discussed the prospect of dialogue with the US at a meeting of party officials. This follows Trump’s statement yesterday that he hoped to meet with Jong Un in May or June. If the talks do take place, it will be the first meeting between a North Korean leader and a sitting US president.
