Teachers in West Virginia are now going on their eighth day of the state wide protest. This is the first teacher strike since 1990. The educators have a $33,000 salary, but have not seen an increase in their paychecks in four year. A bill to increase the pay raise has been tossed around in Congress with the goal of getting the teachers back into the classrooms to teach kids.
