An Amber Alert for 3-year-old Sherin Mathew was sent out after she went missing Saturday. She was last seen by her father Wesley Matthews outside of her backyard.
She went missing around 3 am after her father told her to stand by a tree as punishment for not finishing her milk. Fifteen minutes later, she was gone.
Wesley was later arrested and charged with abandoning or endangering a child. He was released Sunday after posting a $250,000 bond.
Sherin is described as 3 feet tall, about 22 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Richardson police at (972) 744-4800
