The annual See You at the Pole event had students and faculty gathered at the flagpole in front of the building well before school started last week. The participants shared prayers and scriptures that morning before classes.

Senior Jernon Hawley started the event off with a speech he had prepared and shared scriptures with the group.

“I believe the outcome was great,” Hawley said. “It was really moving to see all of us come together like that.”

For many of the students, participation in the event is one of the highlights of the first full month of school.

“It’s a great experience to get together with your classmates and worship God,” junior Kendall Morales said. “I’ve gone since I was in junior high, and every year it just gets better and better.”
