The Bison started district play last week with an at-home match against New Waverly. After some preseason success, the team was hoping to put a W on their district scorecard, but were not able to pull it off.

“We were ready to win,” quarterback Colton Green said. “I was hoping to score a lot of touchdowns.”

The Bison fell to New Waverly 20-27.
