Love story perfect for viewers who like cute and cuddly

Any teenager who has ever crushed on someone who their parents don’t approve of will get this movie. Endless Love is a remake of a 1981 film and based on a 1979 novel, both of the same name, proving how truly timeless the plot is.

Alex Pettyfer is David, a teenager who spends much of the day of his high school graduation regretting the fact that he’s never had the guts to ask fellow graduate Jade (Gabriella Wilde) out on a date. Her family is wealthy and she has spent two years mourning the death of her brother, and somehow she has just always seemed untouchable to David. Finally, though, while at his job as a valet at a fancy restaurant, David summons up the courage to talk to Jade, and sparks fly. Sparks go crazy. The two teens embark on a summer-long romance that everyone seems to be fine with except her super-strict father (Bruce Greenwood), whose plans for his daughter do not include a romance with a lowly car mechanic (David also works in his father’s shop). Despite Jade’s father’s attempts at keeping them apart, though, they seemed destined for one another.

Teenage girls who love mushy (if somewhat predictable) love stories will go crazy for this movie. It is sweet and charming, with anyone who loves chick flicks rooting for the teens. If movies that are predictable, where love always finds a way, is boring to you, though, stay away.
