As the sun rose on Monday, October 21, widespread damage across North Texas was evident after severe weather moved through the area Sunday night. A tornado touched down in Dallas and left a trail of destruction behind it, causing major damage to homes, businesses, parks, and other areas. Several schools in the Metroplex have been forced to find new homes for the remainder of the school year while repairs are made.
