Former FBI Josh Campbell turned in his badge last week explaining it was because of attacks and what he sees as the GOP’s politicization of the bureau. He said that the situation is having a “cascading effect” on the rank-and-file staff within the organization. Essentially, Republicans have been backlashing because of the way the Bureau handled the Russian investigation regarding President Donald Trump. He further explains how he did not like how the bureau handled the situation as well. Specifically because of how the FBI improperly used information paid for in part by Hillary Clinton’s campaign to obtain a FISA warrant for Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page.
