Former member of One Direction Zayn Malik has released a new single titled “Dusk Till Dawn”. The song was written by Zayn, Sia and Greg Kurstin. The title of the song is actually a metaphor. It talks about a relationship that with stands through all the hardships, dusk, into happy beginnings, dawn.

In the music video, Malik kicks up the quality of his graphics and it promises a lot of action. He gets caught, released and escapes with his partner in crime Jemima Kirke and a suitcase she carries. Malik’s vocals are weaker and he models throughout the whole video. The actual song is more of Sias style and it highlights her better than Malik, though he still has some good parts.

The lyrics do hint at his past with One Direction. Certain verses talk about feeling trapped and now having more opportunities. He just wants to make music. They also talk about a romantic relationship. They have been through many rough patches, but despite them, they stand strong in the relationship.
