Matched is part of a three-book series written by Ally Condie. This book features a dystopian society and is great for The Giver and The Hunger Games fans. In Cassia’s society, government officials decide when everybody is going to die, who they are going to marry, how to live their lives and their social class.
Cassia starts to question the rules after a mistake has been made, and she is matched with two boys. She is forced to decide whether to trust the society or to follow an outcast and fight against it. While taking part in defying the rules, Cassia goes through betrayal and discovers many dark secrets.
This is a good story that retells a love triangle with action and adventure included.
