In The Deathly Hallows, J.K. Rowling’s golden trio found a connection between a group of important wizarding people and a symbol that would help defeat Voldemort. When the scene came up in the books and movies we were introduced to The Tales of Beedle the Bard, but we only heard the “Tale of the Three Brothers” and were left wondering what other stories the book could have.

Originally there was only supposed to be seven copies made for charity, but ended up being printed out for general public in 2008. The originals were all handwritten and illustrated by Rowling herself. One of the copies was auctioned of by Sotheby’s and was bought by Amazon for $3 million dollars.

The book features “The Wizard and the Hopping Pot,” “The Fountain of Fair Fortune,” “The Warlock’s Hairy Heart,” “Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump” and “The Tale of the Three Brothers.”

Many of the stories have violent ends. The stories have been called ridiculous in the wizarding world, but they’re not meant to teach a lesson, they’re meant to entertain. The book also has notes left from Dumbledore.
