In the last airstrike of the Obama presidency, more than 100 Al Qaeda members in Syria were killed. Former President Obama’s last major airstrike was successful, hitting a training camp west of Aleppo on the edge of the Turkish border.  The strike happened in the early evening hours of Thursday, hitting 80 core militants who originated from Al Qaeda’s group in Pakistan.

Obama claims this was a successful attack and deemed it to be the last one of his presidency.
