Gossip Girl shows viewers the inside scoop of the lives of Manhattan’s elite. Gossip Girl, who is secretive and unknown, shares texts and scandals. Viewers get to experience the inside lives of the rich and upper class. Gossip Girl apparently lives to stir the pot and feed potential scandals, and fans experience the dramatic and emotional juiciness of it all.

The main characters include Serena Vander Woodsen ( one of the most popular girls), played by Blake Lively, Blair Waldorf (the Queen B of the show) played by Leighton Meester, Chuck Bass (a realist teen) played by Ed Westwick, Nate Archibald (a popular boy with great looks) played by Chace Crawford, and lastly Dan Humphrey (central male character) played by Penn Badgley.

The television series started airing 2007 and the final episode ended on December 12, 2012, but full seasons are available on DVD. The show has been nominated for multiple awards. Definitely a must-see if you like gossip and drama.
