Seniors Jaylee Hullum and Sarah Burchfield help customers load up their baked potatoes at the fundraiser. All profits went to the ProGrad fund.

Since the senior parents decided to pass on the steak dinner for a project graduation fundraiser this year, they have held smaller fundraisers for their graduation night event. Last Friday, the parents and seniors held a baked potato dinner before the basketball games.

Many of the parents and student helped serve and work the supper.

“The potatoes were delicious, the project was nice and it seemed the kids really sold a lot of tickets,” grandparent Guadalupe Juarez said. “It was a great way to bring the family together to eat and talk with friends.”

The dinner consisted of the potato with many condiments and a drink with the customer’s choice of dessert.

“There were many different options of meat that I could chose from, and they even made it easy for me to take it home since I was not able to eat there,” parent Margarita Trejo said. “The dinner was pretty cheap and took me away from cooking.”
