The tournament also hosted the Christmas Shootout. players in the tournament competed in the dunk and three-point contest. Senior Bryce Pauler competed in the three-point contest, while junior Rhett Kilgore competed in the dunk contest.

“I only made eight three’s,” Pauler said. “However, I did make more than I thought I would.”

The Bison swept through their first two days of games without a problem, but ran into trouble with a game against Anderson Shiro on the third day of the tournament. The Bison fell short of first and received third after a losing a close game.

“We pushed until the end,” freshman Dirk Kilgore said. “We played our hardest and that’s all that really matters.”
